As a non-profit agency, the center operates with minimum staffing. In order for the staff to fully dedicate their time to clients' needs, we rely on volunteers to help us perform necessary duties to keep the center running day-to-day and we especially need help during our special events.
Purses for a Purpose. Our newest fundraising event. Help plan, help acquire silent auction items, assist the day of the event. It's a fun time for all the ladies. Or you can reserve your table or individual tickets in advance by calling Derek Danner at

Stand Up 4Kids GOLF Event. This is our signature community awareness and fundraising event held each year during April Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. To be a part of this event contact Derek Danner at 806-740-0251. Held at Lubbock's 4GOLF facility, this is a great way to enjoy a round of golf with your friends, family, or co-workers regardless of skills or weather. Teams of 4 are limited and sell out fast.
Other volunteer opportunities:
Serve on our Board of Directors. A diversified and involved board is important to maintaining a strong Children's Advocacy Center. If you are looking for a way to make a difference and work with our amazing child protection team, this might be just the thing for you.
Sponsor or coordinate a drive - new toys, blankets, or snacks supplies for the children. This is a good project for youth groups and church groups.
