This curriculum is designed to train professionals and volunteers who work with children on a regular or daily basis. It was developed by the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center in collaboration with CPS, the Texas Municipal Police Association, the Texas Education Agency,  the Children's Advocacy Center of Texas, the Travis County District Attorney's Office, and the Texas Alliance for Drug Endangered Children. The purpose is to educate child-serving professionals and volunteers on the basics of child abuse issues. The course lasts 1 - 1.5 hours that will meet the requirement of the state legislators for required training.
