This presentation is appropriate for parents, PTA groups, and other caregivers of children. It covers information on the dangers our children may be exposed to in our schools, with neighbors, family members, churches and sports events. The presentation also serves as a way to begin the conversation among parents about their responsibility to monitor and supervise their children in the virtual world and the dangers they are exposed to there.

Participants will learn:
  • definitions of abuse
  • how to talk to a child about abuse
  • how to keep your child Internet safe
  • what do do when a child discloses abuse
  • red flags for identifying child molesters
  • what is grooming
In addition, you will learn 21 ways to protect your child from becoming abused
